Big Storms for the Southeast!

The surface map by 2pm tomowwow afternoon has the low pressure over central Alabama with a warm front across northern Georgia and into the Carolinas. A strong southerly flow exists ahead of this system with winds 15-20mph +. Precip looks concentrated near to the low and warm front boundary. Will have to watch for the potential of severe weather going into tomorrow for this region.

Here is the 850mb map that shows the winds increasing up to 55mph over Alabama and Georgia. The purple line indicates the freezing temp. So sharp temp contrast and strong southwesterly winds by Saturday afternoon.
